Actor Priyanka Chopra, who's recently shooting for Vishal Bhardwaj's Saat Khoon Maaf, was staying at a palace-turned-hotel in Mysore where she had a royal, king-size room to her herself.
And no, she wasn't too happy about it. She posted on her Twitter page, "I'm staying at a palace that's been converted to a hotel. I think I'm more of a peasant kind of person. I was so spooked in my massive room."Chopra was initially excited about travelling to Mysore. "Hey guys, on my way to Mysore. Will have connectivity for the next few days.... Yay! So what's up!" she tweeted, adding, "Shooting at night... gets me tired. But at a beautiful palace in Mysore... I guess that makes up!"
But then it seems likes she couldn't sleep a wink: "I hardly slept last night. Everthing was scaring me. From the curtains moving to the four-poster bed to the AC making noises to the high ceilings," she posted. No wonder she heaved a sigh of relief, when she had to return to Coorg.
"Good morning everyone. Last day in network today.... Heading back to Coorg tonight! Will miss y'all. Coming back to today.... Me sleepy!" she wrote.
Saat Khoon Maaf has Chopra playing a wife to seven husbands, one of whom was rumoured to be played by Gerard Butler. The film, based on Ruskin Bond's Susanna's Seven Husbands, features Naseeruddin Shah, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Irrfan Khan, Anu Kapoor and Shah's youngest son, Vivaan and a foreign actor whose name hasn't been revealed yet.
