Filmmaker Shekhar Kapur, at a dinner party organised by the clothing, perfume and watch brand, Chanel at Cannes, met one of his favourite actors, Johnny Depp, at the do.
He wrote on his blog on Twitter later: "I've just come back from the Chanel party, had long chat with Johhny Depp, and met Karl Lagerfield, who looks just like his pictures."
However, Depp is not all that active on his blog. So, there was no mention about the dinner do or the chance-meeting with Kapur at Cannes.
