Shah Rukh Khan has revealed that he is shooting for an advertisement with his wife Gauri, who usually likes to remain away from the spotlight.

"I am shooting an advert with Gauri for a fantastic furnishing brand called D decor, very nervous, hope it turns out well," Shah Rukh posted on his Twitter page.

While Cameron Diaz and Tom Cruise were shooting for the film 'Knight & Day', they had a li'l baker to deal with 24 x 7. Yes, Suri Cruise, Tom's li'l one was constantly on the sets and had opened an imaginary bakery.

It has been heard that between shots, mommy Katie Holmes was requested to take orders on the sets, while Suri would get the breads and pastries ready!

Tom Cruise is more than happy with his daughter's creativity and imagination, like many of our own actors in Bollywood, who have been impressed by their li'l ones' creative expressions.

For example, Shah Ruh Khan at one point was convinced that son Aryan was growing up to be an astronaut or then a part of NASA, with his penchant for spaceships et al.

All hail, Prince Khan is here! Believe it or not, King Khan's 12 year old son, Aryan has been offered a movie along side dad Shah Rukh Khan.

Khan has been offered the role of Aryan's father in the movie. The film centers around the problems of growing up amongst teenagers.

The conflict and contrast between a father and son's perspective is the basis of the film. "The filmmakers are very confident that Shah Rukh will like it but there has been no response from SRK yet. The filmmaker is keeping his fingers crossed," the source told.

So, will protective papa give this project the green signal? SRK's staff neither confirmed nor denied the news.

"Aryan is only 12 now. I don't think Shah Rukh will green-light any project like that. However, we cannot confirm any information at the moment," one of Khan's staff members told DNA.

Shah Rukh Khan has roped in Chinese-American actor Tom Wu for his home production ’Ra.One’.

"…a big welcome to Tom Wu in the film cast. He is so humble and such a sport… really nice to have him on board," Shah Rukh posted on his Twitter page.

Tom Wu, a martial arts expert, was earlier seen in films like ’Revolver’, ’Shanghai Knights’, ’Batman Begins’ and ’Tomb Raider II’.

According to earlier reports, action legend Jackie Chan was approached for a role in the action flick.

’Ra.One’ will also see Arjun Rampal and Kareena Kapoor. American singer Akon too is part of the crew as he recorded a song for the movie.

The film is expected to release in 2011.

Shah Rukh, who is currently shooting for the film in London, is a little unwell.

"Antibiotics have sucked all energy out of me. Throat feeling better now… can go on the sets and make some noise to feel important hopefully," he added.(IANS)

The whole world is smitten with pop diva Shakira and so is our Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. Describing her as ’gorgeous and gracious’, he says he was bowled over by her in South Africa during the just-concluded FIFA World Cup 2010.

The actor even posted a casual picture as well as a family photograph with Shakira.

While Bollywood actors like Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Shah Rukh Khan and Imran Khan have already reached Johannesburg to watch the World Cup final between Netherlands and Spain, some football lovers from the industry had to give the match a miss.

Anil Kapoor had almost cancelled his plans.

Sighed Anil, "Some work had come up. It looked like I wouldn’t be able to go to Johannesburg, though I had packed and booked seats at the stadium. But, I finally did make it. I am the brand ambassador and this is the biggest sports event," said Anil as he left for South Africa.

Another football enthusiast, Dino Morea, too seemed unsure of making it to Johannesburg. "I’m in London, all set to go. But my air ticket is not confirmed, if it doesn’t happen, then I’ll just have to watch it on television," he said.

The model turned actor is a huge football fan. "I play football and I love watching the sport. I was supporting Italy as I am half-Italian. Now, I’m supporting Spain because they have never won the Cup," he added.

The football fever has never been more pronounced in Bollywood.

Sanjay Dutt left his pregnant wife in Mumbai for the finals. He will be in South Africa with his two non-filmy best-friends.

"I wouldn’t miss the World Cup for the world. I’m the hugest football fan. I place it above cricket in my scheme of joy. I watched the silliest of games in the Cup. For the finals, I had to be here (in Johannesburg)," said the actor.

Dutt is rooting for Spain all the way. So is Jackky Bhagnani, producer Vashu Bhagnani’s son has apparently secured some of the best seats in the stadium for himself and his five friends from Mumbai.

Speaking from Johannesburg, Jackky exulted, "Man, I’ve the best view possible! I could never afford these seats, they are among the best in the stadium. An industrialist friend from Russia got me these seats. I can’t begin to express my excitement, I feel like an eight-year-old who has got his favourite toy. Me and my friends have our t-shirts, caps and flags ready. We’re rooting for Spain."

Adding to Jackky’s excitement is the fact that this is the first FIFA World Cup match he’s attending.

Shah Rukh Khan and Imran Khan have already tweeted about their presence in Johannesburg for the finals. However, Shah Rukh’s best friend, director Karan Johar will not be able to attend the match.

Other football lovers from Bollywood who had to miss the event are actors Salman Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, who are shooting in Colombo and Delhi, respectively.

According to sources, Nearly Rs 300 crore is riding on King Khan’s shoulders. Reliance Big Pictures has not hit rock bottom with the poor turnover of the Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai starrer Raavan.

Neither has Hrithik Roshan and Barbara Mori’s Kites debacle at the box office obstructed their soaring fund levels. The buzz in the trade is that Reliance Big Pictures has bought the rights of Don 2 from Excel Entertainment for Rs 125 crore, which is about Rs 25 crore more than what they purchased Kites for.

The deal has taken place even before Don 2 has gone on the floors, which implies that even in today’s times when films are flopping days after their release, the buyers in the market have extreme faith in a film that has Shah Rukh playing the lead. Added to this is, there is talk in the industry of Eros International buying Shah Rukh’s home-production RA.One for a whopping Rs 175 crore.

Taking inspiration from how the Om Shanti Om end credits rolled, actor-turned-director Josh Radner of TV show How I Met Your Mother fame has decided to incorporate the unique concept in his film too.

Making his debut with the film Happythankyoumoreplease, Josh liked the director Farah Khan’s funny way to show the end credits with the backdrop of a movie premiere where each member of the cast and crew were shown alighting from a vehicle and walking on the red carpet. It reminds him of theatre because at the end of the play all the characters come together on stage to take a bow.

Well, though the director hasn’t seen the full OSO, it’s pretty obvious that he likes Bollywood films and as reported by a tabloid he regretted not being able to watch Aamir Khan’s film Peepli Live at Sundance Film Festival where he was present with his film too.

Sharukh Khan claimed in Jonathan Ross show that he autographed his own naked photos for the woman security girls in the London airport. The pictures were taken in the security scanner in the airports.

Sharukh said that the security girls made the print out from the scanning device and showed them to him for autograph. Sharukh signed the photos for them after seeing it. The airport authorities said that the news is wrong and the security scanner equipment is not having the print out facility.

Sharukh said that he was stopped at the security equipment because of the “Khan” in his name. He was in the Jonathan Ross show for the talk on his latest release “My name is Khan”. The movie portraits the life of a slightly paranoid person.

Shah Rukh Khan's TV production company, Red Chillies Idiot Box, has tied up with MTV to produce 'Cornetto Luv Reels'. It will premiere two young mushy rom-coms for two weeks, starting June 3.

Fresh faces have been cast in these TV movies that will be helmed by experienced directors like Somnath Sen who has the Dimple Kapadia-Vinod Khanna starrer, Leela, to his credit.

"MTV had approached us with the concept. We thought it could lend a new dimension to TV programming and came on board to give a 'film feel' to these stories," says Idiot Box's Samar Khan, who had earlier directed the critically acclaimed Shaurya.

He insists that Idiot Box has always tried to break convention. "The programming has to be innovative. It may or may not work, but at least it should be something that no one has seen before," Khan asserts. At the moment, he is unsure if the partnership will extend beyond these two TV films. "It depends on the response. If the format is accepted, we will take it forward and may even use these actors in other projects," he says.

Will the films be released in theatres? "That's MTV's prerogative," says Khan. Meanwhile, the channel has tied up with Milestone Movies Pvt Ltd for a third movie that will also be screened in July.

Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up for the most challenging driving lesson of his life. He will be taught how to drive one of the world’s fastest production cars, the Volkswagen Bugatti, for his forthcoming film Ra.One.

Yes, knowing how to drive isn’t enough; you need special lessons for driving this mean machine. And knowing that SRK is a perfectionist, the teaching session is sure to last a while. The title of the film Ra.One, which is SRK’s most ambitious project till date, is short for “Random Access Version One”.

Shah Rukh plays a superhero called G.One and drives a super fast car. And Shah Rukh would have to perform several different stunts while driving this vehicle. A source from the crew of the film confirms that the decision to drive the Volkswagen Bugatti was Shah Rukh’s. “Shah Rukh is taking most of the decisions on Ra.One by himself.”

The itinerary is in place. The source says, “A team of technicians from The Pirates Of The Caribbean crew is being flown down, to teach Shah Rukh how to drive the car with ease. When you are zipping at a top speed of 407 kilometres per hour your mind cannot afford to drift.

Your concentration needs to be at its best,” add the source. Currently, Shah Rukh is busy holidaying with his family, we are told. “He will be taking his family to South Africa for the FIFA final. From there, he plans to go straight to London for the next schedule of Ra.One.

It is in this schedule that most of the portions using the Volkswagen Bugatti would be shot. As soon as he reaches London, the experts will commence the driving lessons,” says the source.

If tweets are to be believed, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is in London for the shooting of his home production "Ra.One", might be attending the London premiere of Abhishek Bachchan-Aishwarya Rai starrer "Raavan" June 16 with his wife Gauri and kids.

"Shah Rukh, I believe Abhishek spoke to you about the premiere in London and you, Gauri and the kids (are) all coming... Wonderful! See you there," Big B, Abhishek's father, posted on his Twitter homepage.

Directed by Mani Ratnam, "Raavan" is a bilingual and also stars Tamil superstar Vikram, who makes his Bollywood debut with the Hindi version. It is releasing June 18 worldwide.

Shah Rukh Khan has booked his ticket to the soccer World Cup in South Africa. And he's not alone. As football fever grips India, Bollywood stars are keen on taking off to South Africa to witness the sporting extravaganza. Expected to join SRK there are actors John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu and Dino Morea.

Declaring his plans on Twitter, Khan posted, "Taking kids for the matches in S Africa." Abraham, too, tweeted, "I'm going to be at the final if I don't have prior commitments." His girlfriend Bipasha Basu says, "If everything falls into place, I may attend the semi finals or finals." Amitabh Bachchan wrote on his blog, "My home enthusiasts... well just one... Mr Abhishek Bachchan has expressed his absolute desire to be there for the final."

Back home, celebs are also picking their favourites, with most - including Kareena Kapoor, Celina Jaitly and Sharman Joshi - backing Brazil. The mega event has musicians crooning, too. While Kailash Kher has recorded a song for an album associated with the FIFA World Cup, singer Bappi Lahiri has also unofficially released a song for FIFA, titled Football Fever.

Among international performers at the opening ceremony, Shakira will perform the World Cup song, Waka Waka. Other acts expected to join her include Alicia Keys and the Black Eyed Peas.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has some great vacation plans for his children - he is taking Aryan and Suhana to South Africa for the FIFA World Cup starting Friday.

"Taking kids for the matches (World Cup) in South Africa," Shah Rukh posted on micro-blogging site Twitter. "Soccer is beautiful…will play today if it rains. Rains and soccer more of a turn on than a singing in the rain."

Shah Rukh says he is nostalgic about the FIFA World Cup as he used to watch it with his mother.

Shah Rukh himself looked like Robert Pattinson, thanks to his gelled spiked hair in the picture and after SRK, it was Aryan who looked most stylish, just like daddy dearest!

The white effect in the picture too made it more Cullen family like, as it’s a known fact that Stephenie Meyer’s Cullen family is family of vampires who are extraordinarily stunning and good looking!

The cast and crew of Shahrukh Khan’s home production Ra.One will be licking their fingers during the meal breaks while shooting the film in London. For they will be served food especially delivered from the chain of restaurants owned by Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra in London.

Shahrukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor and the unit of Ra.One is ready to embark on the London shooting schedule and the contract for supplying Indian food to the cast and crew has been given to the restaurants of Shilpa and her hubby.

Several mouth watering delicacies will be served to the shooting unit, including the chicken curry that Shilpa made famous during her stay in Big Brother’s house in London.

We hear that Shahrukh insisted on providing the best Indian food to the crew during the London schedule and since he knows Shilpa quite well (they’ve worked together in Baazigar and own stakes in different IPL teams), he and his production team finalized food contract with Shilpa’s restaurants.
