Hollywood heavy Russell Crowe is coming to India, and he is set to arrive on June 27. But, not on a spiritual quest to refresh his body and mind after completing a grueling shooting schedule, as has been reported by some media.
According to Crowe’s agent, the visit is at the moment being kept out of public view. He just wants a quick vacation with his wife Danielle Spencer. But the Australian superstar of Gladiator and A Beautiful Mind is expected to meet Sudipto Sen, director of In Search Of Immortality, a film on a German writer’s search for spirituality which takes him to the Kumbh Mela.Though he is going to be here on a short visit and will probably only stick to North India, Crowe will observe the mannerisms of international tourists in the country, besides getting a firsthand account of how holy places in India are and what the code of conduct at such places should be. There’s also talk that Crowe might consider the rumor that gained currency in Cannes last month of teaming up with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for a Hollywood film.
