Even two days after the finale of the World Cup tournament and India’s eventual victory over the Sri Lankans in the final match, the nation seems to be running cricket fever.

And the man to whom the men in blue dedicated the coveted trophy has just begun his celebrations.

The feeling of winning the cup is still yet to sink in. Buzz has it that Sachin Tendulkar has invited Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan to join him for the celebrations.

Amitabh Bachchan who was very much superstitious until the final match tweeted, “Abhishek and Aishwarya been invited by Sachin for a celebration ..guess I shall have to wait till the morning for the excitement!”

The legendry actor, who along with his son and daughter-in-law went out in the streets like commoners to cheer for the victorious Indian side, is yet to call it a day for rejoicing the historic moment.

And now with the first family of Bollywood making it to Sachin’s bash, the party for the Bachchans’ seems to have just begun.

A local court here has directed police to lodge an FIR against actor Rakhi Sawant, Rahul Mahajan and six others for allegedly threatening a man here, who had claimed to have written the script of TV serial `Rakhi Ka Swayamvar`.

The petitioner Gaurav Tiwari claimed that the script of the serial was originally written by him but the production house used it without his consent which was a violation of Copyright Act. Tiwari said he has lodged an FIR in this regard.

Tiwari has now alleged in the court that he was repeatedly getting threat calls from the actors asking him to withdraw the charges.

Tiwari approached the court of additional civil judge (senior division) Jaipur with his complaint on March 30 and the magistrate directed the SHO Shyam Nagar on April 2 to lodge the FIR against eight persons namely Rakhi Sawant, Rahul Mahajan, Fajila Allana, Sameer Nair, Chetanya Deewan, Hemawat Choudhary, Karan Singh, Jitendra Singh Rathore under various sections of IPC including section 386 (Extortion by putting a person in fear of death or grievous hurt), 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation), 120 B (Punishment of criminal
conspiracy).

Meanwhile Sub-Inspector Hari Singh, Shyam Nagar police station, said that the court orders have been received at the police station and the FIR will be lodged.

`Rakhi ka swayamvar`, a marriage-based TV reality show, saw a month-long drama where the actor had to choose her groom from a number of participants on TV.

Bollywood size zero actress Kareena Kapoor is miffed with Deepika Padukone as the latter is spreading rumours that she was the first choice for a song in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Ra.One’.

Talking to a daily, a source said, “Recently, Dippy has been telling anyone willing to hear that she was the original choice for the Chamak Challo dance number in ‘Ra.One’ and that producer Shah Rukh Khan had her in mind for the item number.

And that Bebo threw a fit when she heard of it. Kapoor is upset and feels Dippy is only doing this to gain mileage from the ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ title track.”

Meanwhile, a source close to Kareena said, “Chamak Challo is not even an item number. Kareena is the film`s heroine and the song is part of the story so how can Deepika even be considered? These rumours amuse Bebo.

DP may be spreading this rumour as her DMD track isn`t the hit it was touted to be.”

When contacted ‘Ra.One’ director Anubhav Sinha, he said, “We never approached Deepika for an item song.

Chamak Challo is an integral part of the story. The song will be catchy, glamorous and sexy but it`s not an item song, which are usually random additions that don`t need a story.”

Now that’s quite strange Deepika!
