Where's your Swagger gone? Cher Lloyd tones things down in a monochrome dress for night out with boyfriend Craig Monk

Wannabe fashionista: Cher Lloyd toned things down in a monochrome dress as she attended Vogue's Fashion Night Out with boyfriend Craig Monk

She's made a name for herself through her outspoken attitude and incredibly unique sense of style.

But last night former X Factor star Cher Lloyd decided to ditch the crazy outfits and go for something chic and simple as she donned a cute black and white dress for a night out with her boyfriend Craig Monk.

However, the 18-year-old star did bring her own quirks to the outfit, teaming it with a pair of footless white lace tights and a half-shaved hairstyle.

Quirky: But Cher did include some of her own unique touches, including white lace footless tights and her half-shaved hairstyle

Trainee hairdresser Monk, meanwhile, went for a printed T-shirt and brown trousers as he and Cher enjoyed the evening at Vogue's Fashion Night Out before continuing the party at Mahiki nightclub.

Cher and Monk have been dating since June, after meeting when Monk put in the teen singer's hair extensions at the Four Salon in Mayfair where he works.

The Swagger Jagger singer first hinted at a secret boyfriend back in June, where she wrote: 'I'm so happy I have my loyal fans, family, an amazing boy, plus a great team! LOVE you people.'

As she was: Cher is known for pushing the boundaries with her fashion sense

When she appeared on Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills' show in July, she refused to be drawn on his identity and said she felt 'awkward' discussing her relationship.

And it appears he's supportive of her music career, revealing on Twitter that 'of course' he had downloaded her debut single Swagger Jagger.

When one follower suggested he was lucky to be dating the singer, he replied: 'I am lucky but I think she's just as lucky as I am haha.'

X Factor return? Simon Cowell is said to be keen for Cher to perform on the show this year

Cher has enjoyed huge success since releasing Swagger Jagger and, despite receiving negative reviews from critics, hit the top spot with the track.

'Cher is a big fan of Ghetts and personally wanted him on the track. It was her decision. It's also surprising Ghetts agreed to it. His street cred will plummet.'

If the track does well, Cher could be making a return to The X Factor later this year to perform for viewers and the finalists live on the show.
